Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a seasoned network security engineer to design and deploy secure network solutions for DoD missions. You will apply expertise in network design, OSI model, TCP/IP, and policy development to improve security, reliability, and availability of mission-critical applications.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, experience with Illumio Core/Endpoint, cloud and hybrid IT, and the ability to obtain DoD certifications within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Illumio Core or Illumio Endpoint in production.
• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture and micro segmentation strategies.
• Experience with cloud environments and hybrid IT infrastructures.
• Experience configuring routers, switches, and firewalls with layer 3 and 4 security policies.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, firewalls, routing, and ACLs.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification within 30 days of start date
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification within 30 days of start date
