Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Network Systems Engineer to administer and strengthen enterprise network and security infrastructure in a highly regulated environment. You will work with Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls, load balancing, cloud connectivity, and operational services to ensure availability and security.

The role collaborates across Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, and GRC teams, contributing to documentation, incident response and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity/Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant network engineering, network administration, or network security experience.
• Experience with Cisco switching environments and enterprise production infrastructure.
• Familiarity with DISA STIG security configuration standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Palo Alto Networks firewall platforms.
• Administer and support Cisco firewall technologies.
• Implement firewall rules, VPN configurations, NAT policies, and segmentation requirements.
• Support Cisco switching and routing environments and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Maintain load balancing and application delivery services with F5 technologies.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity testing activities.
• Assist with audit readiness, evidence collection, and remediation.
