Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Network Systems Engineer to administer and improve enterprise network and security infrastructure in a regulated environment. You will work with Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls, load balancing, cloud connectivity, and operational services to ensure availability and compliance.

You will collaborate with Systems Administration, Cybersecurity, GRC, and other teams; maintain documentation, runbooks, and participate in incident response, change control, and disaster recovery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of relevant network engineering, network administration, or network security experience.
• Experience administering Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls.
• Experience supporting enterprise production infrastructure in regulated environments.
• Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Palo Alto and Cisco firewall platforms.
• Manage network infrastructure including switching, routing, and load balancing.
• Assist with vulnerability remediation, security baselines, and audit readiness.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and incident/change management processes.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity testing.
