Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT/Engineering.
• 4+ years of network engineering or security experience.
• Experience administering Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls.
• Experience supporting Cisco switching environments.
• Experience working in regulated/compliance-driven environments.
• Experience performing operational maintenance including patching and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Palo Alto Networks firewall platforms.
• Administer and support Cisco firewall technologies.
• Implement firewall rules, VPN configurations, NAT policies, and segmentation.
• Assist with vulnerability remediation and security hardening.
• Participate in security incident investigations and resolution.
• Support security controls and approved baselines.
• Support Cisco switching environments and routing.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.
• Support network infrastructure upgrades and lifecycle management.
• Perform root cause analysis on network incidents.
• Support F5 load balancing and application delivery services.
• Maintain virtual servers and SSL configurations.
• Collaborate with application teams to ensure high availability.
• Apply patches, firmware updates, and security updates.
• Maintain runbooks and operational procedures.
• Participate in audit readiness and regulatory activities.
• Document network diagrams and procedures.
