Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Network Systems Engineer to administer and improve our enterprise network and security infrastructure. You will collaborate with Cybersecurity, GRC, and Systems teams to maintain availability, security, and compliance for critical infrastructure supporting regulated operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of relevant network engineering, administration, or security experience.
• Experience with Cisco switching and enterprise production infrastructure.
• Experience in regulated healthcare or federal environments preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud networking fundamentals and monitoring concepts.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Palo Alto and Cisco firewall platforms.
• Implement firewall rules, VPNs, NAT, and network segmentation.
• Support Cisco switching and routing environments and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage F5 load balancing and application delivery services.
• Support disaster recovery, runbooks, and incident response.
• Participate in audit readiness and regulatory compliance activities.
• Develop and maintain network diagrams and operational procedures.
