Job summary

Prudential Financial, Newark, is seeking a Specialist, Network Security Analyst in the Network Security Strategy & Analysis team within ISO Infrastructure Security. You will analyze data from SIEM, firewall, ZTNA, and other sources to identify risk, quantify technical debt, and support strategic decisions.

You will translate findings into risk statements, dashboards, and remediation plans, collaborating across security and network teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience in cybersecurity, network engineering, security analytics, or risk analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data.
• Experience developing queries, dashboards, metrics, or reports.

Responsibilities

• Collect, normalize, and analyze data from SIEM, firewall, and other sources.
• Identify insecure access paths, legacy technologies, and control gaps.
• Build analytics, dashboards, and reports to measure network security posture and risk.
• Perform complex analysis and document methods and assumptions.
• Translate findings into risk statements and actionable recommendations.
• Support state assessments and strategy work for NAC, segmentation, and Zero Trust.
