Job summary

Prudential Financial, Inc. in Newark, NJ is seeking a Specialist, Network Security Analyst within the ISO Infrastructure Security team to transform security data into validated findings and prioritized actions.

You will analyze SIEM, firewall, and vulnerability data, develop dashboards, and collaborate across security and technology teams to reduce risk. A strong foundation in cybersecurity, data analytics, and experience with Splunk, SQL, and Python is preferred, with a focus on measurable risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• Experience in cybersecurity, network engineering, analytics, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with incomplete enterprise data.
• Experience developing queries, dashboards, metrics, or reports.
• Ability to manage analysis and projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Collect, normalize, and analyze data from SIEM, firewall, proxy, ZTNA, NAC, network, vulnerability, asset, CMDB, IPAM, endpoint, and identity sources.
• Identify unmanaged assets and control gaps in the network.
• Build analytics, dashboards, and reports to measure security posture.
• Translate findings into risk statements and executive visuals.
• Maintain a risk and technical-debt inventory with ownership and status.
• Automate recurring data preparation and reporting.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience
