Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking Software Development Engineers to build new platforms for AWS Networking. You will join a team developing embedded routing devices that power one of the world’s largest networks.

You’ll help design, implement, and scale Linux-based solutions across data centers worldwide. As part of AWS, you’ll own meaningful pieces of infrastructure, collaborate across teams, and contribute to performance, reliability, and visibility of Amazon’s global network.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years in design or architecture of scalable systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related experience.
• 1+ years designing large-scale, multi-tiered, embedded or distributed software.
• 1+ years of OO design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS/Engineering/Math.
• Experience programming in at least one language.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Linux-based solutions on embedded devices for networking products.
• Contribute to changing the way data center networking is built and operated.
