Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Seattle is sourcing Software Development Engineers to design, develop, and operate embedded routing platforms powering AWS networking. You will join a team of engineers building scalable Linux-based solutions for the world’s largest network infrastructure.

We value experienced developers who can own design, contribute to platform improvements, and collaborate across software, hardware, and network teams to deliver high availability and efficiency at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of embedded firmware development experience, or Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
