Capital One seeks a proactive Risk Manager to join the Network Participant Risk Oversight program in the Network Payments domain. Based in Richmond, VA, you will drive testing, monitoring and challenge for first-line risk decisions and activities within the NPRM team.

You will collaborate with BRO and IRM, craft remediation plans, analyze data trends, and influence stakeholders to strengthen the risk posture while supporting strategic objectives and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 4 years of risk management experience within the financial services industry.
• At least 2 years of payment network experience.
• At least 2 years of third party risk or risk governance oversight.
• At least 2 years of risk management, compliance or legal oversight experience.

Responsabilités

• Support development and execution of the NPRM testing and monitoring strategy.
• Perform testing and monitoring of the first line network participant risk management including data analysis to identify risks and remediation.
• Serve as subject matter expert to BRO and IRM functions in assessing operational risk.
• Challenge and guide implementing NPRM risk management practices.
• Manage related policies and standards for the NPRM Program.
• Document and communicate challenge results; perform validation data analysis with trends and remediation.
• Consult on Issue/Event analysis to observe trends and insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple organizations to achieve objectives.
