In this role, you will manage key security technologies, support secure remote access, research and recommend security solutions, and collaborate with IT teams to incorporate security best practices into daily operations. You will also contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives while serving as a knowledgeable resource and mentor to other team members.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of common types of attacks against systems and networks and common vulnerabilities; theoretical underpinnings of computer security and its forensics.
Highly analytical and an excellent problem solver with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with competing demands in an effective and productive manner, with a systematic approach to identifying issues.
Methodical and accurate while delivering to deadlines.
Good performance turning and troubleshooting skills critical.
Self-motivated and self-sufficient with ability to work under minimal supervision.
Good communications skills with a good command of the English language; ability to convey technical information to nontechnical audiences.
Good interpersonal and customer service attitude with the ability to maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders; a good team player with the willingness to assist the team whenever necessary.
Maintain highest standards of ethics as relates to handling confidential and proprietary information.
Ability to cope with shifting priorities and handling high volume “crisis” situations calmly and effectively.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays as required to provide support and maintenance for systems, and to ensure 24/7 support and troubleshooting.
Must be willing to work “on call” as needed.

Work rarely involves the ability to move about the office or move about the campus or other GCU facilities. Work rarely involves lifting, moving or carrying items heavier than 50 pounds, climbing, reaching, kneeling, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling.
