Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking an IT Generalist for a temporary assignment in Cape Canaveral, FL. You will support day-to-day network operations, perform MAC activities, and coordinate with users and IT teams to resolve incidents.

The role involves configuring switches, testing hardware, documenting changes, and ensuring IT security compliance. A current DoD/DoW Secret clearance is required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with network troubleshooting with routers, switches, firewalls, DNS servers.
• 3+ years experience with LAN/WAN management.
• Active Security Clearance required.
• HS Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform Move/Add/Change (MAC) activities, including physical and logical modifications.
• Install, move, terminate, and patch network connections in various locations.
• Configure switch ports and changes to support port activation.
• Serve as first responder for ITSM/ServiceNow tickets and document actions.
