Job summary

Pennant is seeking a Network Administrator to join our Infrastructure Services team. This role helps maintain and improve network connectivity across our geographically distributed operations, including firewalls, switches, wireless networking, VPN, and cloud connectivity.

collaborate with network engineers, service desk staff, field technicians, vendors, and carriers to ensure reliable and secure network operations. Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT infrastructure or network support.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networking.
• Experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN/VPN/wireless connectivity.
• Familiarity with switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers, and access points.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure across locations.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, outages, and wireless incidents.
• Coordinate with service desk, carriers, and vendors on outages.
• Document changes, runbooks, and network diagrams.
• Support site deployments and equipment lifecycle management.
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis.
