Job summary

T-Mobile in Herndon, VA seeks an in-house attorney to provide regulatory guidance to network operations and business teams. The role focuses on telecom laws, policy drafting, and practical legal solutions in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

You will work with cross-functional partners, assess risks, and help design compliant product strategies. Strong analytical and communication skills, a JD and bar membership are required, plus 2–4+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

2–4+ years as an in-house, top law firm, or government attorney
JD from an ABA-accredited university with outstanding academic credentials
Current bar membership in at least one U.S. state
Experience or deep interest in technology, including network technology, telecommunications, and IT infrastructures
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

Advise the company on telecom laws, regulations, obligations, and industry standards impacting network operations.
Develop strong business partnerships to guide the business on legal considerations for strategies and products.
Drive a successful compliance program, including drafting internal and public-facing policies, disclosures, and training.
Analyze legislation and regulations and provide subject matter expertise to Government Affairs.
Propel other department and team initiatives as assigned.
