Job summary

AXON Networks seeks a Network Operations Manager to establish and lead Operational Excellence, guiding governance, automation and improvements across Support, Operations and Engineering. You will own the readiness criteria for launches, implement metrics, and drive durable changes.

This hands-on leadership role requires deep technical knowledge, incident response experience and the ability to scale processes with a small, high‑impact team partnering with SRE, DevOps and Product.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience supporting or operating large-scale production environments.
• Experience supporting broadband, telecommunications, networking, or service provider solutions.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure including GCP and OCI.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs across engineering, ops, security and QA.

Responsibilities

• Build the Operational Excellence function, including its operating model, roadmap, governance and talent.
• Own the automation and tooling strategy for Network Operations, prioritizing work that reduces manual effort and risk.
• Define production-readiness standards for new products and changes before production handoff.
• Create dashboards and scorecards for availability, reliability, incident performance and toil.
• Lead root-cause analysis and drive durable improvements across teams.
• Coach teams and influence across organizational boundaries to achieve outcomes.
