Responsibilities

• Telecom Coordination: Manage day-to-day administrative telecom tickets, process service orders for additions, bandwidth upgrades, relocations, or site closures
• SD-WAN Rollout Support: Assist with the deployment pipeline of next-generation SD-WAN devices, ensuring tracking numbers, physical labeling, and inventory statuses are accurately maintained
• Carrier Escalation: Act as a central point of contact for internet service providers (ISPs), coordinating on-site dispatches
• Baseline Diagnostics: Learn to use enterprise monitoring dashboards to verify remote hardware
• Technical Documentation: Update internal network maps, site inventory sheets, and vendor contact records as sites are upgraded or migrated
• Structured Learning: Actively shadow senior technicians to absorb advanced troubleshooting methods across switches, firewalls, and multi-site architectures

Qualifications

• Experience Level: 0 to 1 year of experience in IT support, a helpdesk environment, or a structured technology internship
• Education: Associate’s degree in a technology field, technical school certification, or equivalent self-taught fundamentals
• Foundational Knowledge: Basic understanding of networking principles, including what an IP address is, standard cabling (copper vs. fiber), and how a router connects to the internet
• Organization Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with an ability to coordinate multiple vendor timelines and ticket queues without dropping the ball
• Communication and Demeanor: Strong, clear written communication skills for interfacing with friends and vendors alike, paired with a natural curiosity to ask questions and learn

The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
