Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Network Monitoring Engineer for a contract role in Jersey City, NJ (onsite 3 days a week). Design, implement and maintain fault monitoring solutions and automation to support enterprise networks.

Candidates should have Linux/Unix administration experience, strong networking knowledge, and scripting skills (Python/Ansible/Shell/JS). Proficiency with Netcool, SevOne, Splunk and related tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Linux/Unix administration experience.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and proxies.
• Experience with fault monitoring tools such as IBM Netcool, SevOne, Splunk, and Micro Focus.
• Experience deploying and managing Netcool Omnibus, Impact, and Network Manager.
• Experience building Runbook Automations and self-healing solutions.
• Scripting experience in Python, Ansible, Shell, or JavaScript.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for Network Monitoring Engineer. Position type: Contract Duration: 18 Months Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (3 Days Onsite) As a Network Monitoring & Automation Engineer, you will: Design, implement & maintain Network Fault Monitoring solutions, automation frameworks, and integrations to support enterprise network operations and performance management.

Required Skills (Must-Have)

• Experience deploying and managing Netcool Omnibus, Impact, Network Manager, Probes, Gateways, and Cognos Analytics.
• Strong experience with SevOne Network Performance Management.
• Experience building Runbook Automations and self-healing solutions.
• Must have strong Linux/Unix administration experience.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and proxies.
• Experience with fault monitoring tools such as IBM Netcool, SevOne, Splunk, and Micro Focus.
• Experience developing integrations, custom policies, probes, triggers, and reports.
• Scripting experience in Python, Ansible, Shell, or JavaScript.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $55/hr - $60/hr on W2.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
