Innova Solutions is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer (GCP & Infrastructure Automation) to design, implement, and optimize enterprise networking in hybrid cloud environments across McLean, VA; Iselin, NJ; and Charlotte, NC. This hybrid role supports 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

You will build and manage GCP networking services, develop reusable Terraform modules, and automate provisioning with Python.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP networking and hybrid cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for reusable modules.

Job Title: Senior Cloud Network Engineer (GCP & Infrastructure Automation)

Location: McLean, VA / Iselin, NJ / Charlotte, NC -Hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote

Duration: 6+ months - Potential Extension Employment Type: Fulltime/Contract

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise-scale networking solutions with a primary focus on GCP and hybrid cloud environments.
• Build and manage GCP networking services including VPC Networks, Cloud Router, Cloud NAT, Cloud DNS, Private Service Connect, Network Connectivity Center, Cloud Load Balancers, VPN, and Interconnect.
• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for cloud networking infrastructure and automate VPC provisioning, routing, firewall policies, load balancing, and connectivity services.
• Build automation solutions using Python, Terraform, and cloud-native automation frameworks.
• Support hybrid connectivity between on-premises data centers and cloud environments through VPN, Dedicated Interconnect, and third-party network integrations.
• Troubleshoot complex production network issues involving routing, connectivity, DNS, firewalls, performance, and application traffic.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions for recurring network issues.
• Support cloud network migrations, application onboarding, infrastructure upgrades, and modernization initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP networking; candidates with strong AWS networking experience will also be considered.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts including BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, routing and switching, DNS, load balancing, VPN, and network security.
• Hands‑on experience designing and supporting GCP networking solutions in production environments.
• Strong expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including building reusable Terraform modules.
• Strong networking automation and scripting experience using Python, Terraform, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
• Experience with hybrid cloud networking and data center connectivity.

Pay Range

$55hr - $60hr
