Job summary

Mayvin seeks an experienced Cybersecurity Operations Lead to oversee cybersecurity activities supporting the U.S. Army Transportation Command’s global IT environment. The role leads cyber defense operations, including security monitoring, threat analysis, vulnerability management, incident detection and response, and coordination with Government stakeholders.

Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in computer science, cybersecurity, data science, information systems, information technology, software engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day cybersecurity and cyber defense operations.
• Monitor security alerts, network activity, system logs, and SIEM data.
• Identify, analyze, document, and escalate potential cyber incidents.
• Coordinate incident response, containment, remediation, and recovery activities.
• Manage vulnerability scanning, analysis, tracking, and reporting.
• Oversee ACAS scans, Vulnerability Index reports, POA&Ms, and remediation efforts.
• Support RMF activities and maintain system Authorizations to Operate.
• Provide cybersecurity status, risks, trends, and recommendations to Government stakeholders.
• Lead cybersecurity personnel and coordinate security activities with system, network, application, and help-desk teams.
