Job summary

Avon Technologies in Cadillac, MI seeks a Network and Infrastructure Engineer within the EUD and Infrastructure team to design, implement and support on-premises and private cloud IT infrastructure across sites. You will manage networking, servers and storage, ensure high availability, security and performance.

The role covers Cisco networking, Windows Server, M365/Azure, virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), SAN/NAS, backups with Veeam, and ITIL-aligned service management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing and managing IT infrastructure across sites.
• Expertise with Cisco networking, routing, switching and security.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 integrations and Azure.
• Proven virtualization experience (Hyper-V, VMware).
• Experience with SAN/NAS storage and disaster recovery concepts.
• Familiarity with backup (Veeam) and patching/hardening practices.
• Ability to work in a multi-national, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network, server, and storage infrastructure.
• Support Cisco-based networking environments, routing and switching.
• Maintain security controls (firewalls, VPN, ISE).
• Provide 3rd line support for infrastructure and network issues.
• Produce technical documentation and diagrams.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams.
• Lead lifecycle of infrastructure assets and vendor relationships.
