Job summary

AWS is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer in the Culpeper, VA area to design and scale dedicated cloud regions. You will work across data centers with internal customers and vendors, focusing on network stability, automation, and capacity management.

The role requires strong communication, detail orientation, and enterprise network experience, with travel as needed. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment experience.
• 3+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• CCNA or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate project status and blockers to leadership and project management.
• Perform device build and cabling validation activities.
• Manage cabling vendor activities and performing quality assurance activities.
• Support Network Engineering deployment activities during change windows and migration of hardware.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and inter-connectivity issues and deliver repeatable solutions.
• Travel within geographical work area up to 40%, possibly including international travel.
