Job summary

Leidos is offering a Summer 2027 Network Impact Assessment Intern program at Scott AFB, IL. You will work within the GSM-O II contract to analyze how network events affect military missions and customers on a global scale.

You will shadow senior analysts, learn to use network management tools, and gain experience in high-stakes operational environments while contributing to mission assurance and network resilience.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen eligible for DoD Secret security clearance.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT, or Network Engineering.
• Foundational understanding of TCP/IP, DNS and the OSI model.

Responsibilities

• Shadow senior analysts to evaluate Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs) and impact on missions.
• Learn to use network management and monitoring tools to assess mission impacts.
• Log and track impact findings in ServiceNow and related systems.
• Support rapid assessments during emergency network outages and communicate findings.
