Job summary

Revel IT in Westerville, Ohio is seeking a Network & Hosting Infrastructure Specialist to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve credential issues across network devices and server infrastructure. You will manage access, validate credential stores, and support data flow from infrastructure sources.

The role requires CompTIA Network+ or equivalent, scripting skills (PowerShell or Python), and hands-on experience with enterprise networks and virtualization platforms.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification.
• Experience with PowerShell or Python scripting.
• Experience with infrastructure discovery or asset scanning tools.
• Familiarity with CMDB concepts and CI classification.
• Background in enterprise-scale environments with diverse device types.
• Experience working within ITIL-aligned processes.
• Strong expertise in network infrastructure and server/hosting environments.

Responsibilities

• Triage and diagnose connectivity and authentication errors across routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and server platforms.
• Collaborate with network and hosting teams to maintain accurate credential stores and access policies.
• Support service graph connector configurations to ensure proper data flow from infrastructure sources.
• Manage and optimize discovery schedules to align with infrastructure maintenance windows and scanning requirements.
• Document credential management processes, known infrastructure issues, and resolution procedures.
• Provide subject matter expertise on network topology, device configurations, and server environments.
• Support the broader ServiceNow Modernization program objectives as needed.
