Job summary

Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, WA is seeking a Systems Support Technician I to join the Information Technology team. The role focuses on supporting helpdesk operations and ensuring WAN/LAN network systems are installed, supported and maintained at appropriate service levels.

Ideal candidates have an AS degree in CS/Engineering or related field, plus two years of basic WAN/LAN experience. On-call shifts are required; weekend/holiday shifts differ by scheduling.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with WANs and LANs in a healthcare IT environment.
• Experience supporting data, voice, image and video networks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist IT team to install, support and maintain helpdesk operations.
• Provide guidance on network systems and service levels.
• Support staff with WAN/LAN connectivity and basic telecommunications.
