Job summary

Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead network projects across all campuses, ensuring service levels for data, voice, image, and video systems.

You will plan and implement WAN/LAN, VPNs, firewall policies, and wireless networks, mentor staff, and coordinate vendor relations for maintenance and disaster recovery; BS in CS/engineering preferred and Cisco/VMware experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Two years’ demonstrated experience managing WANs and LANs.
• Comprehensive understanding of OSI model.
• Three years’ experience with complex networks.
• VPN experience with Cisco ASA preferred.
• Knowledge of Linux commands.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership for network projects across OMC campuses.
• Administer, plan, and direct network systems to maintain service levels.
• Evaluate, plan, and develop telecom, WAN, LAN, and wireless networking.
• Train staff on network policies and procedures.
• Manage vendor relations for maintenance and disaster recovery.
