Job summary

This position administers, organizes, plans, and directs the various networks at all OMC campuses to ensure that all OMC data, voice, image, and video network systems are maintained at appropriate service levels. The senior network engineer provides leadership in the evaluation, planning, managing, and development of new telecommunications, WAN and LAN technology, and wireless networking, and documents policy and procedures for all network based technology. This position trains and updates appropriate staff on network-based policies and procedures. Strong vendor relation skills are required to ensure high-quality support for maintenance and disaster recovery. Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills, verbal and written skills, mastery of the MS Office applications suite, and experience with monitoring and development tools are essential.
