Job summary

GuideIT is seeking a Network Engineer to join our remote team. The role focuses on maintaining network infrastructure, cloud integrations, and security compliance while supporting multiple client environments.

The ideal candidate will manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and Windows Server services, with strong ITIL practices and a customer-first mindset. Remote-friendly, Dallas-area onsite as needed.

Qualifications

• Expertise in routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto).
• Experience with VPNs and site-to-site/client-based configurations.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, MFA.
• Cloud experience with AWS and Azure preferred.
• Knowledge of ITIL and PCI compliance in network environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage network support and tasks for client projects.
• Set up and install network devices and services.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, QoS.
• Perform system upgrades and security configurations.
• Monitor network performance and ensure availability.
• Collaborate with security team on policies.
• Provide user support within SLA.
