Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Network Specialist to design, implement, operate, and support project network infrastructure. You will lead wired/wireless networking, support security, and work with stakeholders and vendors to align with Bechtel standards.

You will contribute to network strategy, optimization, and continuous improvement, collaborating with Field IS&T and PIIM teams on enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routing protocols, and VLANs.
• Experience with cloud networking, security, and ITSM practices.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support LAN/WAN, private cellular networks, and end-user devices.
• Maintain core services like DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and identity management.
• Ensure high availability and performance of critical systems for project execution.
• Implement cybersecurity measures and align with ISO/IEC 27001 and ISMS.
• Lead incident response, disaster recovery planning, and vendor coordination.
