Job summary

The Wenger Group is seeking an IT Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize its nationwide network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud networking. You will ensure stability, security, and efficiency, collaborating with IT operations, cybersecurity, and stakeholders to align with business needs.

You will manage network components, monitor performance, and implement disaster recovery plans, while following ITIL processes and driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• ITIL Foundation certification (preferred).
• Industry or vendor certifications (Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft).
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server technologies.
• Proven experience with high availability IT systems and network reliability.
• Proficiency in Active Directory management and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise network components (routers, switches, firewalls, APs, SD-WAN).
• Ensure stable connectivity across 30+ locations (offices, data centers, remote sites).
• Monitor network traffic, latency and availability with monitoring tools.
• Maintain network redundancies for business continuity.
• Provide tier 2/3 support for network incidents and outages.
• Develop disaster recovery plans for network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with security teams to align with IT security policies.
• Document network architectures and standard operating procedures.
