Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Network Engineer 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will design, engineer, integrate, operate, and maintain electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets. Responsibilities include developing high-level architectures, performing network modeling, and ensuring secure, scalable designs with NAAS/SDWAN capabilities.

Qualifications

• Active DoD SECRET Clearance is REQUIRED.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related discipline with 2+ years of progressive experience.
• Experience designing and evaluating network architectures and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Survey reports and site surveys for client projects.
• Review and analyze LAN/WAN designs and network utilization.
• Develop high level network architectures and documentation.
• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support.
• Perform testing and commissioning of deployed systems.
• Prepare QA/QC and testing procedures.
