We’re partnering with a leading enterprise to hire a Network Engineer II to join a high-performing IT infrastructure team based in Phoenix, AZ. What You’ll Be Doing:

As a key player in the networking team, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and optimizing the company’s network infrastructure. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure uptime, performance, and security across multiple systems and sites.

Your Day-to-Day Might Include:

• Designing and deploying scalable LAN/WAN architectures
• Configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs (Juniper experience highly desirable)
• Troubleshooting network performance issues and leading resolution efforts
• Monitoring network health using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios
• Implementing and maintaining network security and compliance standards
• Supporting documentation, network diagrams, and mentoring junior team members
• Escalating complex issues and collaborating closely with the Principal Network Engineer
• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering roles
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP)
• Experience working with Juniper or Cisco network hardware
• Familiar with security tools and protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs – IPsec/SSL)
• Proficiency with scripting or automation tools (Python, Bash, Ansible, Git)
• Bonus if you have exposure to SDN, cloud networking, or virtualization

Preferred (but not required) Certifications:

• CCNA/CCNP
• Network+
• JNCIA/JNCIE
• CISSP or CEH
