Job summary

HealthEdge is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our enterprise network across on-prem, cloud, and remote access platforms. You will work in a 24/7 team, applying ITIL processes and automation to deliver measurable outcomes for our healthcare SaaS platform.

You will design and manage multi-cloud networking, implement security controls, and build IaC to enable repeatable deployments. Strong AWS networking and firewall expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent.
• 5+ years hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong routing and switching knowledge (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP, VLANs, STP).
• Experience with firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/FTD).
• Proficient in monitoring tools: SolarWinds, Datadog, PRTG.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewall, and load-balancing.
• Monitor performance and resolve issues to meet SLAs and MTTR goals.
• Implement network security controls and zero-trust principles.
• Design AWS network infra: VPCs, subnets, IGW, NAT, ELBs for HA.
• Manage Transit Gateway, VPC peering, Direct Connect, and site-to-site VPNs.
• Automate with IaC and scripts to improve deployments and monitoring.
• Maintain topology docs, runbooks, IPAM, and change records.
• Collaborate across teams and mentor junior engineers.
