Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Network Engineer for the Starlink Community Gateway to define, build, and deploy key product features that enable new use cases and global connectivity. You will be a first-principles problem solver, a self-starter, and work across hardware, software, and ops teams with customers and sales for integration and scaling.

You will travel to customer sites for installations, troubleshooting, and integration, supporting critical milestones and on-site deployments in remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM discipline or 2+ years of professional networking experience
• 1+ years deploying enterprise network solutions and/or cloud & web-scale networks
• Professional experience deploying networking hardware (Routers, Modems, Switches, Firewalls)

Responsibilities

• Work with Community Gateway hardware and customers to improve performance and resolve issues
• Provide pre-sales technical support and act as engineering SME in customer interactions and proposals
• Develop guides to streamline customer integration with Starlink network and equipment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements for Community Gateway
• Directly support activation of new installations from connectivity to scaling
• Travel to customer sites to support installation and integration of Community Gateway systems
