Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Gateway Site Development Engineer (Starlink) to design antenna sites and hardware worldwide, traveling to develop infrastructure plans with international partners. You will help deploy rapid antenna deployments and ensure system health while collaborating across growth, regulatory, and network teams.

The role requires a degree in engineering/science and 1+ year of engineering experience, with willingness to travel domestically and internationally and to work long hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Ability to work long hours and weekends when necessary to support launch and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Design antenna sites and site hardware to support, connect, and power the antennas worldwide.
• Travel abroad to create infrastructure development plans with international partners to establish antenna sites.
• Develop new processes and methods for rapid deployment of antennas.
• Engage cross-functionally to align technical roadmaps with other Starlink contributors like growth, regulatory, or network engineering teams.
• Review antenna site reliability over time to ensure robust system health.
• Demonstrate ownership of product and business outcomes at all stages.
