Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Gateway Site Development Engineer for Starlink to design, deploy, and optimize antenna sites globally. The role involves international travel and cross-functional collaboration to advance site infrastructure and system performance.

The candidate will own end-to-end site rollout plans, manage complex projects, and work in a fast-paced environment that supports SpaceX’s global internet mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science required.
• 5+ years in an engineering role.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, or structural design and analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design antenna sites and site hardware to support, connect, and power the antennas worldwide.
• Travel abroad to create infrastructure development plans with international partners.
• Develop new processes to enable rapid deployment of antennas.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align technical roadmaps.
• Review antenna site reliability and ensure system health.
• Demonstrate ownership of product and business outcomes.
