Fortinet is hiring a beginner-to-intermediate Network Engineer to support 24x7 network operations from its Sunnyvale, CA headquarters. The role involves deploying Fortinet devices, configuring networks, and maintaining global network systems as part of a security-focused team.

Ideal candidates possess a BS/BA in CS or Engineering, Fortinet NSE 4 certification, and the ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Travel within the US is expected.

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent education and experience).
• Fortinet NSE 4 certification is a requirement for this position.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure FortiGate devices, FortiSwitches, console servers, PDUs, and monitoring devices.
• Install and upgrade network hardware; configure firewall policies.
• Gather information, document and update network topologies.
• Travel ~7 times per year within the US for deployment and maintenance of Fortinet offices networks.
• Participate in on-call rotation for support outside normal business hours.
