Job summary

KCI Telecommunications is growing its Managed Services Design and Installation team, seeking network engineers at all levels of expertise. The role centers on Fortinet ecosystems, FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitches, FortiAPs, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiCloud, advanced routing, SD-WAN, high availability, and enterprise voice/data environments.

We provide hands-on mentorship, real career progression, and certification support.

Qualifications

• Interest in enterprise networking and ongoing skill development.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, routers, switches, or wireless APs.
• Solid foundation in network architecture and routing protocols (OSPF/BGP).
• Strong communication skills and customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Willingness for occasional after-hours work to support operations and clients.
• Senior candidates: Tier 2/3 experience with Fortinet or comparable enterprise networking expertise.
• Experience in telecommunications, networking, or managed services environments.
• History of leading design efforts, mentoring teammates, or owning strategic projects.
• CCNA, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent practical experience is required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy firewalls, switches, and wireless access points based on customer network requirements.
• Lead high-level architecture for Fortinet environments, including SD-WAN designs at senior level.
• Support or own migration projects from legacy systems to Fortinet with minimal downtime and smooth policy transitions.
• Collaborate with project managers, field technicians, and end clients to deliver installations.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and help define engineering practices at senior level.
• Follow engineering standards for network design, documentation, and project communication.
• Contribute a continuous-improvement mindset to design, deployment, and support of client environments.
