Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Jr. IT Engineer at our Sunnyvale headquarters to support 24x7 operations as part of a growing IT organization. You will administer security platforms and assist with incident response to help protect enterprise networks.

You will participate in vulnerability management and security hardening across environments, with opportunities to work on WAF, endpoint protections, and SIEM, using Python for automation.

Qualifications

• Understanding of network/security/system fundamentals.
• Experience with Fortinet security devices is a plus.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and defense methods.

Responsibilities

• Own the administration of security platforms including WAF, endpoint protection, SIEM; provide Tier-3 support with troubleshooting.
• Participate in security incident investigations.
• Lead vulnerability management and remediation across infrastructure.
