Fortinet’s Sunnyvale Headquarters is adding a Jr. IT Engineer to support our global distribution of network and server systems and ensure 24x7 IT operations.

The role focuses on implementing and maintaining security and infrastructure, with on-call duties outside normal hours. The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of troubleshooting experience, strong English communication, and a BS in CS/Engineering (or equivalent).

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent education and experience)

Responsibilities

• Deliver network/security/system implementation and remediation projects to meet demands
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve network/security/system problem, analyze root cause
• Install, maintains and upgrade network/security/system hardware, software, and operating systems
• Coordinates and communicates with users
• Responds to and resolves support requests
• Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours
• Other duties as assigned
