Job summary

Northstrat, a GRVTY company, seeks an experienced Network Engineer to sustain and optimize the enterprise network and cloud infrastructures, ensuring secure, reliable operations and compliance with DoD requirements.

You will design, implement, test, and document network configurations, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues while integrating new technologies to support mission needs.

Qualifications

• Active US government secret clearance required.
• 3–7 years of experience in network engineering, administration, or sustainment roles.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise network infrastructure including Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs, DoD cybersecurity requirements, and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize network and communication protocols while integrating new technologies into existing architectures.
• Perform network and communications engineering support, including design, configuration, implementation, and sustainment activities.
• Ensure network compliance with DISA STIGs, operational standards, and cybersecurity directives, including vendor-recommended software upgrades.
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues, faults, and outages to minimize operational impact.
• Maintain and support local integration and test networks to validate new configurations and technologies.
• Integrate network and communications solutions into the broader system architecture to support mission requirements.
• Develop detailed design documentation for new or upgraded network architectures.
