Job summary

Northstrat, a GRVTY company, seeks an experienced Network Engineer to sustain and optimize the network enterprise, ensuring secure, reliable operations. You will design, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance network and cloud infrastructures in line with DoD cybersecurity and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Active US government secret clearance required, with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• 3–7 years in network engineering, administration or sustainment.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches and firewalls.
• Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting and performance analysis.
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs, DoD cybersecurity requirements and compliance.
• Experience supporting ISP circuits, WAN connectivity and IPSec VPN.
• Layer 3 routing protocols such as EIGRP and BGP.
• CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II) compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize network and communication protocols while integrating new technologies.
• Perform design, configuration, implementation and sustainment activities.
• Ensure network compliance with DISA STIGs and cybersecurity directives.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve network issues to minimize impact.
• Support local integration and test networks for new configurations.
• Integrate network solutions into broader system architecture to meet mission needs.
• Develop detailed design documentation for new or upgraded networks.
