Job summary

Epic, located near Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking a Network Engineer to install, configure, and support our campus and cloud networks. You will evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure, working with a global network environment across Cisco and other vendors.

You will investigate and implement modern switching, routing platforms, firewall rules, and WAN design, while adopting infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience or interest in switches, routers, access points, and/or UPSes.
• Proficiency with Cisco enterprise hardware; CCNA/CCNP certification helpful.
• Relocation to Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support campus and cloud networks.
• Evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure.
• Design and troubleshoot WAN connectivity.
• Leverage Terraform and Ansible for deployments.
• Collaborate in a small team to keep Epic's network running.
