Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is seeking a Network Engineer to design, build, and tune the backbone of our mission-critical systems for federal government customers. The role emphasizes performance, security, and seamless connectivity.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and a position-appropriate security clearance (e.g., TS/SCI with poly) are required. The position involves architecture, deployment, and optimization across multiple states and contract locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years, or Master's plus 3+ years, or no degree with 10+ years of hands-on experience.
• IAT Level I certification (DoD 8570.01-M compliant).
• TS/SCI with agency-appropriate polygraph clearance required.
• Solid grasp of secure network design, configuration, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy secure, high-performance network solutions.
• Keep LANs running with hands-on administration and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and optimize dataflow to reduce latency and boost throughput.
• Capture and analyze network performance data to drive improvements.
• Configure and integrate front-end and back-end systems for seamless communication.
• Collaborate on mission-driven network designs and architecture.
• Translate performance metrics into actionable system requirements.
