Job summary

Hyra is seeking a Third Line Network Engineer for a primarily remote role with occasional travel to customer sites. You will manage complex networking and security issues, supporting enterprise clients with technologies such as Zscaler, Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.

Ideal candidates have hands-on routing, switching, and security expertise, including Layer 2/3 networking, and a background in MSP or network support. Enjoy clear progression and continual certification opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with MSP or network support background.
• Hands-on experience across routing, switching, security, and troubleshooting.
• Strong Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking experience.
• Experience supporting customers in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex networking and security issues from investigation to resolution.
• Support customers across enterprise environments and projects.
• Participate in upgrades, migrations and infrastructure initiatives.
• Contribute to a 24/7 on-call rota with potential overtime.

Network Engineer - Remote (Zscaler, ZIA, ZPA, Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, Fortinet, Palo Alto, WAN, LAN, FortiGate, SD-WAN)

Are you an experienced Network Engineer looking for your next challenge?

We're partnering with a growing, award-winning MSP that delivers specialist networking, security, and cloud solutions to enterprise and public sector clients across the UK. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add a 3rd Line Network Engineer to their technical team.

As a Third Line Network Engineer, you'll take ownership of complex networking and security issues, supporting customers across a range of enterprise environments. You'll work with technologies including Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA), Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, Fortinet, Palo Alto, WAN, LAN, and SD-WAN , while also contributing to upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects.

We're keen to speak with engineers from an MSP or network support background who have strong hands-on experience across routing, switching, security, and network troubleshooting. You'll enjoy taking ownership of technical issues from initial investigation through to resolution and have solid Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking experience.
