Job summary

DeWinter Group is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge network and cloud infrastructures in a dynamic hybrid role based in Redwood City, CA.

You will collaborate with IT and security teams to deliver scalable, secure networks, ensure optimal performance, and strengthen resilience across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of relevant experience in network engineering
• Certifications: Cisco CCIE and/or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Hands-on expertise with Azure SD-WAN architecture
• Experience with Meraki firewall, switches, and WAP systems
• Knowledge of network segmentation, access control, and cloud integration
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows systems
• Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet and Asana

This role offers a dynamic hybrid work environment in Redwood City, CA, where you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure solutions that support current needs and future growth. As a key member of the IT team, you'll leverage your expertise to ensure seamless network performance, enhance security protocols, and support organizational resilience.

Required Skills:

• 8-10 years of relevant experience in network engineering
• Cisco CCIE and/or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certifications
• Proven experience designing and managing complex network environments
• Hands-on expertise with Azure SD-WAN architecture
• Strong knowledge of network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems
• Experience managing Meraki firewall, switches, and WAP systems
• Proficiency with network segmentation, access control, and cloud integration
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows systems
• Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet and Asana

Nice to Have Skills:

• Zscaler ZTNA configuration and ZCP certification
• Experience supporting compliance standards including SOX and GxP
• Ability to evaluate and recommend new hardware and software technologies
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Cisco CCIE or equivalent advanced certifications
• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level networks
• Knowledge of cloud environments, notably Azure SD-WAN
