Sharp Brains is seeking Network Field Engineers for a project in Medford, Oregon. The engineers will be responsible for staging equipment, installing Cisco WLCs, and ensuring all tools and materials are ready for deployment. A strong background in rack & stack, cabling, and network implementations is preferred.
The role involves working in a team setting to support remote efforts during cutover and validate ongoing installations. Candidates should be prepared with all necessary tools.
1 DAY SUPPORT NEEDED ON MONDAY 22ND JUNE
Need Smart Hands / Network Field Engineers
Resources should have experience in rack & stack, cabling, WLC installations, fiber connectivity, and remote support coordination.
Stage equipment before cutover.
Install 2 Cisco 9800 WLCs per site.
Perform power/network cross-connects, including verifying switchport availability for WLC connections.
Install/connect required SFPs, fiber patch cords, and Ethernet patch cords as per site requirement.
Support remote team during cutover and validate installation.
Remove old WLCs, label, pack, and prepare for return shipment.
Tools / Material Readiness
Engineers should have console cable, hotspot, label maker, rack screws, and be prepared with/verify required SFP modules, fiber patch cords, and Ethernet patch cords per site.
Prefer engineers with network implementation / cabling / smart hands background who can handle both installation and physical connectivity verification.
