Job summary

F2Onsite is seeking a Network Installation Technician to install, configure, and support network infrastructure during overnight maintenance windows. You will deploy routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling in customer environments while minimizing business disruption.

You will follow installation plans, coordinate with remote engineers, and ensure all equipment is installed, tested, and documented to company and client standards. Overnight shifts and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience installing network hardware or IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with rack and stack procedures.
• Basic understanding of network equipment (routers, switches, patch panels).
• Experience with structured cabling and labeling standards.
• Ability to follow technical diagrams and installation instructions.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Install and rack network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, and related hardware
• Perform structured cabling installation and patching (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber where applicable)

Work Schedule
