Job summary

Internet Subway seeks a Sales Engineer to serve as the technical backbone of the sales process, turning property layouts into buildable, priced network designs. You will quote projects, design networks, survey sites, and maintain clean deal data for the team.

Responsibilities include translating opportunities into scalable designs, producing BOMs, and handing off to construction and documentation teams, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years in telecom, ISP, low-voltage, or related technical field; sales engineering, network design, or field engineering experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of FTTP/FTTH fundamentals: OSP vs. in-building infrastructure, PON architecture, and basic network topology.
• Comfort reading and producing site plans, floor plans, or as-builts, and translating them into a bill of materials.
• Strong attention to detail and solid CRM/data discipline.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to properties for site surveys.

Responsibilities

• Project Quoting: Build accurate quotes and proposals for prospective Multifamily properties based on unit count, construction type, materials, labor, and vendor costs.
• Project Design: Translate opportunities into technically sound OSP and in-building designs, including scope and BOM.
• Site Surveys: Conduct surveys to validate serviceability, constraints, and validate design assumptions before a project is sold or built.
• CRM & Data Discipline: Keep accurate, current records for every opportunity and support forecasting and reporting.
