Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Network and Cybersecurity Engineer to ensure security, accreditation, and compliance of WIDS environments for the Skywalker program. You will support IA activities, coordinate A&A/ATO efforts, and implement cybersecurity best practices throughout the system lifecycle.

Work with government stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure secure deployment and operation, maintaining ICD 503 and RMF alignment. TS/SCI with poly is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Information Assurance or cybersecurity activities within DoD and/or IC environments.
• Knowledge of RMF, ICD 503, A&A, and ATO processes.
• Experience developing technical documentation and security accreditation artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity engineering and IA activities for WIDS deployments.
• Coordinate A&A and ATO efforts per ICD 503 and government requirements.
• Develop, review, and maintain accreditation documentation, security plans, and procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to implement secure configurations and controls.
• Support vulnerability assessments, security reviews, and risk mitigation.
• Assist with system hardening, patch management, and configuration management.
• Provide guidance on cybersecurity requirements during deployment and sustainment.
• Support government customers during security reviews and accreditation activities.
