Blue Mantis in New York City seeks an IT Operations Engineer to support enterprise customers with server and cloud environments, networking, and incident response. The role covers Windows, Linux, and Unix, with on-call duties during major events.

Responsibilities include cloud operations (AWS/Azure/O365), VMware virtualization, system monitoring with SolarWinds and DataDog, and implementing security best practices. BS in CS/IT with relevant certs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT or equivalent hands-on experience.
• CCNA and/or CCNP certifications; ITIL and related certifications preferred.
• Experience in a complex multisite enterprise environment.
• Ability to provide game-day/holiday on-call support as needed.

Responsabilités

• Server administration across Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
• Cloud operations including AWS, Azure, and O365 with virtualization.
• Manage VMware-based virtualized infrastructure for reliability and scalability.
• Monitor systems with SolarWinds and DataDog to ensure performance.
• Lead incident resolution and ensure SLA adherence.
• Implement security best practices for on-premise and cloud networks.
• Create and maintain detailed network topology and runbooks.
